Q: The display is listed as LED despite having 165 hz. Is this the MiniLED model or the IPS?
A: The 4050/4060/4070 SKUs currently on Best Buy are all IPS LED screens at 500 nits. Asus's website says that the MiniLED panels are also 165Hz, but 600 nits, and also won't be available with the Anime Matrix. My guess is that miniLED will be an option only for the 4080/90 SKUs, so we'll have to see what Best Buy ends up carrying down the line.
A: comes with 16gb soldered and one empty slot. I put a 32gb 4800 dimm in and now shows 48gb of mem.
A: Realistically, the 4070 model competes with the 6800S model, and it will perform quite a bit better while consuming less power. The Gigabyte Aero 16's 105W 4070 gets about 35-40% better FPS than the 6700S in NBC's Witcher benchmarks. The 4070 should offer other benefits over the 6700s besides raw power, such as much better efficiency & temps (the 2022 G14 seems to run the 6700S into the 80s, which NVIDIA doesn't do much this generation). So 80% higher price for 40% higher raw performance, taking the sale into consideration. My assumption is that other benefits of the 2023 model will be in the spotlight once reviews come out, such as the new CPU, better webcam, and different RAM config (easily upgradeable to 32GB).

A: Battery is good enough for 6 hours on average, maybe you could push more or less, depending on the workload. fans get loud as the others ln Turbo preset but not too much, on silent it stays silent and can be use at very quiet places. Screen is very colour accurate and beautiful, pretty bright and good but because it's an IPS it has some blacklight bleed around the corners.
